Brain Image Database of Medical Students

This record holds multimodal brain MRI of healthy medical students in China. Composition

The record describes 98 healthy Chinese medical students. Volunteers were found through advertisements in colleges and communities. People were not enrolled if they smoked regularly, were pregnant, had impaired color discrimination, had a history of alcohol or drug abuse, took any current medication, had a contraindication to MRI, or had a neuropsychiatric or serious somatic disorder, including use of sedative-hypnotic drugs in the previous month. Age range, sex split and the number of sessions per person are not given.

Acquisition

All scans were made on a 3 T scanner that the record names as Prisma. The protocol includes a high-resolution T1-weighted structural scan, resting-state functional MRI and diffusion tensor imaging. Sequence parameters, file format and the number of subjects with each scan type are not stated.

Known limitations
